As far as cogs and peterson, they were about even goin into the end of spring training but as far as regular season has gone, Petey is tearing it up in AAA.

Jennings (Dunn's replacement) misses the plate a lot also but he gets a lot of ground balls when he forces contact (ground ball percentage over 50% last few years). He'll probably work as a left handed specialist in the 7th/8th innings.

Maybe some time down will help Dunn out. I'm glad to see moves being made. Means they aren't waiting around aimlessly.

How were they even? Petersen was coming off a respectable ~250 PA the previous season in addition to being superior and more versatile defensively. In contrast to Coghlan, who has been terrible since 2010. Also, they both had bad springs, but Coghlan's was rancid. So I'm not sure if you're talking about just their ST being even, which would be silly anyway.
I still have no idea what the FO was trying to accomplish by carrying Coghlan on the bench. He should have been getting regular PA in AAA to see if there's any chance of him regaining his stroke and discipline.

After reviewing their lines, I stand corrected but I think saying Coghlans spring was rancid compared to Peterson is an overstatement. Offensively they werent far apart other than OBP from what i can see from the At Bat app. For whatever reason FO thought it was better to have Coghlan on the team.

It was time for CC to leave, way overdue. Dunn hasn't performed this year don't know why but hopefully he regains what he had last year in AAA, nice to see Jennings get a chance to help the pen, I'm optimistic.
I gave almost everyone a +1 or green arrow or "like".

Now, more importantly, does the Petey & LoMo Show start up again or was that a Spring Training thing only ?

Offensively, they were 100 OPS points apart in Spring. I felt "rancid" was an appropriate word for a .558 Spring Training OPS. I guess you can feel that's an overstatement, but what's more important than those ST stats is everything else to compare them on.

I believe ST only, when I'm sure they had a lot more free time.Excellent move with Petey, it's about time.
