Per rule 10.22a he wins the title.
Is that the rule that states the number of plate appearances needed to qualify will count as hitless AB's until qualification?
AKA, the same rule that Gywnn won a batting title with in the 90's and what Melky Waived to prevent his BA Title this year?

Yeah, it means that if Stanton went into the batter's box without a bat for the PA needed to qualify for the title, he'd still win.

They should offer him more. He wants to play elsewhere and will definitely turn down 300mil.He should get 15/300 now.

I don't think he would necessarily need a bat to hit the ball. He could just go up there and swing his forearms to hit the ball just as hard, if not harder.

That's insanely awesome.

Per Ben Maller:
He joins A-Rod and Albert Pujols as only MLB players with .600 slugging percentage before turning 23 years old.

Makes sense.
Stanton is actually 19.
Stanton is actually Giancarlo Michael Roy Cruz Hobbs Stanton.
Instead of the bat being forged out of tree struck by lightning, Giancarlo Hobbs was forged by the sledgehammers that took down the Berlin Wall.

A few of you are starting the think about this clearer, but you're still thinking too small.
We should just go ahead and offer him a lifetime contract in return for 100% of the team profits each year...let him take whatever money he needs each year and whatever's left over he can give back and we can use it to pay other players and the expenses.........and just hope he accepts.
