Read it in the Sentinel. This dude had a 8-17 record with a 4.91 ERA. Is this really a good decision?

Well during the Redmond conference Beinfest said Reid is still the bullpen coach. Nothing official yet.

If it's a bad decision, it's not because of that.

Pitching coaches are not usually former Cy Youngs so his stats aren't important.

Can we get Tom Glavine as a pitching coach?
Or would he purposefully ruin our pitchers to get back at Red? :x

Actually let's trade a prospect to steal Greg Maddux from Texas.

I still think it will be hard to bring any real "name" into this org. IMO, Red is the one that should be picking his coaching staff, but that ain't gonna happen.

And Dave Duncan never pitched in pro-ball. It's about knowing how to work with pitcher, not being a great one yourself.

The organization should be able to attract someone like Phil Brickma. He's a real name.

I kinda hope Redmond with his ties to Minnesota brings in Paul Molitor as hitting coach.
