very surprised. I think 70 is a pretty big reachI'll be surprised if we manage to win 70 games.

60 of them are from the other team forfeiting, something about not wanting to play in a burning stadium

Personally, I'm just hoping we enter the season with Stanton signed long term. If we do the season is a success in my mind. Really scared they trade him.

i actually like the future of our team. especially if we trade stanton for an absolutely ridiculous haul.

That pink skirt picture IS going to be funny.
It won't happen, but if it does, I won't be complaining about it because it means we have something to look forward to. The only drawback would be convincing my wife to lend me a pink shirt and take the picture. I wonder if that's grounds for a divorce for irreconcilable differences? Nah, I don't think I'd be that lucky.

To the OP, if the Marlins make it to the playoffs next year, I'll wear a pink skirt and post the picture here on this forum. I can make that promise to you because I know the odds of that happening are less than 0.000001%. I've been a Marlins fan for 16 years and love the team to death, but just because we are fans doesn't mean we should kid ourselves about the sad state of the team.

Oh what a bet.
I'm sure you go out in matching pink blouses regularly

You're not being real if you consider what we have now as anything remotely different from last place. In the event that they place anywhere outside of last place and its because they played well, nobody in their right might could've predicted that.

Hey, real men wear pink. I have a killer pink shirt and pink tie that my wife picked out for me. Wore it to the office the other day and got tons of compliments from the other attorneys in the firm.
This is the 21st century buddy. The days of attorneys wearing nothing but a white shirt and a black suit are long gone. The only ones I know that still dress that conservative on a daily basis are over the age of 50 (or corporate attorneys.)
