Nothing we didn't expect but I am glad Jose got on the mound right before he left. Marisnick will hopefully get that hand healed up soon and be ready just after the season starts...

Marisnick apparently out four weeks with a broken hand. Should be alright.

We should just release Hatcher. He isn't good at baseball.

We will probably be seeing Jose this year.

Imagine Fernandez and Yelich making their debuts in the same game sometime in June. I'd probably go to that one.

They might actually draw 20,000 fans that night!

Maybe 1,000 die hards. Like they did for Stanton's debut. Attendance that night (June 15, 2010) was 17,000.

That wasn't Stanton's actual debut, though. Just his home debut. Makes a difference.

Why? Its the first time home fans got to see him play. I don't see why it would make much of a difference.

About the only thing Fernandez needs to work on in the minors is his endurance. The organization never let him pitch more than 5 innings in any of his starts, work on going 6-7 innings in Jax and keep his dominance up and we'll see him by August.

I'd like to see him on a pitch count, regardless of inning- 100 sounds good. Maybe 110.
