John Maine pitching today, trying to stay in the hunt for #5 starter.  Sabathia goes for the Yankees

 

Down 3-2 after 3, Maine gave up 3 runs on 3 hits (2 homers) and 2 walks in 3 innings.

 

 

Marlins hitting CC pretty well so far (8 hits through 4 innings - all singles but yeah go ahead & get used to that).

 

 

Kearns has hit into two double-plays already.

Pierre, Solano, Kouz each reached base twice,

Gorkys and Green both went 3-4,

 

13 hits but all singles except for a Coghlan double. 

 

Good outings for Webb and Ramos

not so good for Maine, Jennings, Koehler
